Who Is Group Destination Planners

Lily and Jacque Moore started Group Destination Planners with one goal in mind: Create an event and tour planning service for companies and individuals that accommodates a wide range of travel expense budgets.

Group Destination Planners opened for business in Billings at the historic Carlin Hotel, on Montana Avenue, in February, 2002. It started as a receptive service company, called EVENTS 4 U, which planned business meetings and events. A year later it morphed into a destination management company: Group Destination Planners, LLC. By then, the need for a tour planning service became evident as a viable part of that segment of the business. This need led to the company’s current business model … a tour company with receptive services.

Lily has this to say, “Even though Group Destination Planners is a business, to me it feels like a ministry. I want my tour participants to enjoy the beauty and the unique stories of historic sites; the adventure of seeing new places; the opportunity to make new friends; the safety that comes from traveling with a group; and the exquisite taste of new cuisines.
